Global Assistance

GLOBAL ASSISTANCE a.s. is a member of the international Vienna Insurance Group. This Group consists of more than 50 insurance companies in 25 countries, having approximately 23,000 employees. Global Assistance a.s. is a universal assistance company with international operation, providing services – ranging, based on their type and character, in the territory of the Czech Republic and Europe – to medical assistance services all over the world.

The company implemented the quality management system in 2004 with the aim of achieving continuous improvement of quality of the services provided and to ensure the satisfaction of its customers. In terms of the standard requirements, the system is subjected each year to an internal audit and a control audit by a certification body and every three years to a comprehensive recertification audit by TÜV Rheinland, a renowned foreign company.

The heart of the company consists of the Assistance centre that works continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and employs professional coordinators. A customer can reach the call centre by calling 1220 from the Czech Republic or by calling +420 1120 or +420 266 799 779 from abroad.

The information systems also include the extranet function for the contractual partners of Global Assistance a.s. This function enables the contractual partners to get an on-line overview of their clients' cases, browsing and filtering. The scope of the overview can be customised.

Global Assistance a.s. has created unique information and control software for controlling the assistance services, such as ProAssist, ASAP and EPA.

Projects of Global Assistance

Project Sky Angels Club

It is a participation of sport pilots to volunteer network of traffic reporters. The goal of the project is to show the general public that sport pilots can be useful to society. During his flying they often see things that remain hidden to “grounders”

Children's Traffic Foundation

Even though in the last few years the number of deaths on Czech roads cause by accidents is declining thankfully, there still remains a sad fact that every year many children lost both parents in a traffic accident. These orphans are supported by the Children's Traffic Foundation, wich Global Assistance sending a significant contribution.

Racing arena Sosnová

Many drivers have the impression that their car is equipped with modern safety technology what can handle any situation. Perfectly keeps traction, accelerates, brakes and more or less behave according to our notions. But then comes a crisis situation, and suddenly we find that for our car applies the laws of physics and the car suddenly got out of our control. In Autodrom you can safely practice what to do in such a situations.
